The Project Rules and Guidelines
Permalink Closed

Each member will create a survival single player world, with structures on, and using the seed beowulf  or –221236380. You may play as much as you want, and are not required, but strongly urged, to post your progress and tips on the forums.

During The Project, please follow these rules:

The rules for using Coordinates are as follows (when explaining to a different member):

Please give specific coordinates for Biomes only. e.g. A member may be looking for a large Jungle biome on an island. Coordinates for interesting terrain features are okay too - e.g. Perhaps a member found a really nice waterfall or an unusual looking ravine. Please do not give out coordinates for specific structures (e.g. Strongholds, NPC Villages, Nether Fortresses, etc) or for diamonds. IF you have found a lot of diamonds in one place and other members are interested; please make your directions vague. e.g. At the end of the cave near spawn, by the lava lake.

1) No mods that radically alter the game, e.g., add new blocks, items, monsters etc. We're trying to make our experiences as 100% legitimate as possible. Texture packs are allowed as they only alter the way the game looks.

2) Don't use 3rd party programs such as AMIDST, Minutor or MCEdit to find dungeons, Strongholds, Villages or Biomes. Part of this project is experiencing the game the way it's intended; however - many members may have found the biome or nether fortress you've been looking for - checking blog posts or posting on the forums will be a great way of sharing discovers or asking if somebody has found the very thing you're looking for :)

3) No using TMI/NEI or single-player commands to give yourself a million diamonds or 1000 XP levels. Okay, that may be a slight exaggeration, however the point is clear - no cheating people!

4) Otherwise - play the game however you wish; do whatever you wish; build whatever you wish. On a side note regarding building things - we would prefer it if no-one built offensive things; i.e giant penises, racist banners etc.

Thanks! Wartower9.
