I coulda swore I posted a reply to this ten, eleven hours ago. Maybe I dreamed it. Or maybe it was supposed to be a deja vu experience, but I'm not following through with the repeating part. Course, that goes completely against the two main theories of why deja vu happens, so obviously it's not that. I call hacks.

Anyyyyyways, I typed this super-duper long post about what really happened with the creeper, my experiences with using a 1.8 texture pack in 1.2.5, and why Wartower can relax and take his time with Squareception.

But! I am bound and determined for this not to turn into deja vu, so, here's a puppy.

Puppy! =D

Oh, ummm, updates. Right.

Spoiler

First things first, water has the weirdest physics. Apparently, it wants to run upwards to a source block when a block (transparent and opaque both work) is in its way. This could be why I was able to make the water flow upwards when I was making that one sky island. Haven't been able to replicate it, though; I'll be working on it.

Spoiler

Okaaaaaay, so now villagers are attempting the chest glitch. But they're going about it all wrong. There's no hope for them. *Shakes head*

Spoiler

My experience with fire...

Spoiler

Hi, Creeper! ^_^

The fire glitch is from Multiplayer I believe. I've had that happen in SMP but haven't seen that in SSP yet.

Silly villagers are doing it wrong. They got the walk through the floor glitch down pat though. xD That weird water physics thing is....weird. Looks like you're having fun!

I agree! These glitches are quite funny. But the fire sound scares me when I'm not expecting it cause I think something's on fire until I realize that I just put it out. Haha.

Knockback is now useful? How so?

So recreating the walking through the floor glitch may be impossible due to some sort of random occurences? Boo. I've experienced a lot less mobs moving weird as compared to the spinning mobs on fences from 1.2.5. Haha. Course, I haven't seen mobs on fences, yet, so I dunno where I was going with that. Just rambling. Haha.

I haven't experienced the crazy water glitch natural, yet. I wanna see it!

Update!

Spoiler

Red squid! =]

I went exploring in this update. Like, major exploring. After about ten minutes of walking around...

Spoiler

I found my village! =D Yeah, I hadn't gone far...

Spoiler

So I went farther than I had ever gone adventuring before anywhere and found this crazy whatchamajiggit.

Spoiler

Well that's not obvious at all. Hahaha. Found this in the third huge desert I explored. I literally found nothing in the other two. But, no matter, due to what I found a little later on. =]

Oh, and it's a skellie spawner. ^_^ Don't know if I'll be back to it, but hopefully I can.

Spoiler

There should be a giant sign saying "Welcome to Epicville" here.

Spoiler

It's so awesome. =]

Definitely going to be staying here awhile. The main reason is I still haven't found another village or any pyramids or ruins. Another reason is I have absolutely no idea where I am. But do I care? Nope. Haha.

Ahhhh, see I was wondering about if those glitches were from multiplayer. Are there any other slightly common ones I should know about? Haha.

I'm going to have to try the walk through the floor glitch, now, just because it has a name that sounds awesome. It must have something to do with wooden planks. Hmmmmmmm.

Indeed the water physics is weird. I'ma see if it can't be turned into a streamlined item grinder/mob drowner. ^_^

All these glitches... Are remarkably funny to see!

But are also very annoying.

Hello Mr. Creeper! On a side note, Knockback is now very useful.

Mobs (and players) walking through the ground seems to come up in Multiplayer a lot, and now single player. :P I don't think the material of the blocks matter.

Mobs moving weird or too slow, or not noticing you when they clearly should is another common one. Creepers blowing up when you know you were far enough away that they shouldn't have, like what happens in multiplayer.

I saw that water running up glitch today in a mineshaft in my AMCWAS world. Really weird, and in my case there were several water source blocks making currents run in different directions.

Yay! Mountains. But just remember when adventuring- The best places to adventure in (currently), are Plains, Jungles and Deserts. That's where the temples and villages are.

Yeahhh, but I love that place. Haha. I'm definitely going to make a home there as soon as I stop looking around at all the caves and ravines and junk.

Hopefully I'll find another desert or plains biome on the outskirts of this one. ^_^

Super Update!

Spoiler

So today started off with me looking around that extreme hills biome again. Found some sheep! ^_^

Spoiler

And I saw some awesome land formations. You better believe that island has a natural tree on it.

Spoiler

Then I swam out to a nearby island that was puny just to see if anything cool was out there. There wasn't, but I got a nice shot of the mountain biome. =]

Spoiler

I started to get bored of the hills, so I decided to start the extremely long trek back up to the house. But before I did, I decided to look in the nearby jungle to see if I could see any ruins. I didn't want to explore it before because of the lag, but with OptiFine newly downloaded, what the heck, right? So I found this. Once again, that's not obvious at all. And you can tell by the map that it's not that deep into the jungle at all.

Spoiler

That's the two chests and then the final haul. Got quite a lot of good stuff, I must say.

Spoiler

So the way I went to the extreme hills biome was obviously different than the way I came back. The way I went, I wasn't aiming for any particular coordinates, so I just wandered about. I came back aiming for the shortest way to my house since I more or less knew the whereabouts of it in terms of the X and Z. That being said, I went through a lot of stuff that I hadn't gone through getting up there. If you've never ridden a boat through a jungle river at night, it's really fun. Just saying. Anywho, I came across not one, but two villages. Right beside each other! The first one was much better, though, cause it had a church and a blacksmith.

Spoiler

Okay, so I was a little off with the coords to my house because I somehow ended up at my village... I mean, I totally meant to come back to my village. I needed to get my boat back!

Spoiler

I ended up leaving it. Haha. I don't want a boat that's going to sink on me!

Spoiler

*Sigh of relief. Home, sweet home. And in case you can't read that, the extreme hills biome I was at is 2885.77m away from my house. T'is a long way. *Nods.

Quite epic mountains and the natural waterfall is a nice touch. :D

Beautiful place to build in. Hoping you have some cool stuff near it!

Epic scenery!

And I think those are my villages. The blacksmiths chest seems familiar.

Oh, and I just sent you the new TP.

I'm probably not going to build anything major out there. It was more of a I'm-bored-of-building-I'ma-go-adventure. Haha.

Those could very well be your villages. They kinda looked familiar in your thread. Haha. Got the TP! Haven't played with it, but I looked at the .pngs, and I'm going to love the furnaces being all square. And the new enchantment table looks beast!

Squids =]

Thanks! ^_^

Didn't do too much today; just did some mining and planted a jungle tree on the animal island for a cocoa bean farm. Getting like a stack of cocoa beans with every harvest. Haha. Course, after planting some back, it's only 40 or so, but still, that's a lot of cookies. =]

Cookies! That is a lot of cocoa beans. Too bad we can't add them to milk buckets for chocolate milk. That would be nice.

Chocolate milk would be amazing. It could be used for something cool, like a speed boost or laser vision.

Spoiler

And yeah, it is a lot of cocoa beans, but unfortunately, there was no way for me to possibly get enough wheat to keep up with the cocoa beans to make them worth while. So instead of cutting down on harvesting cocoa, I just made the wheat farm a little bigger. Now it takes up about a third of the island. Haha.

Spoiler

Sniping animals with snowballs is fun. =]

Lol I thought that was a mooshroom for a minute. You didn't snipe your sheep though, did you?

Yeah, the wheat farm's not as big as I want it right now, but it'll do. Haha. Maybe I'll just build a wheat island one day or something.

And yeah, I hit a sheep. =/ At least it was cute when it got hit. =]

I'll be doing some enchanting today, probably. Mostly armor and tools. Creepers are making Hard hard again. ^_^

A huge event is happening on an MMO I play, going on from this morning to next Monday, and tomorrow I have a church event, so I won't have much time for Minecraft or other Interwebz activties. See you guys in a few days!

Rage of Bahamut! =D You play?

It was lots o' fun. Kinda tense, though. Haha.

We still don't have rankings on it, yet, but hopefully they'll be up tomorrow.

Haven't done any Minecraft lately, nor have I done much YouTubing, but maybe I'll get back into the grind tomorrow. Or the next day. Or next week. Haha.

I know. Haha. I honestly haven't even tried out recording in 1.3, yet. Not sure if my laptop can handle it, Minecraft, and the audio at the same time. We shall see!... next week... maybe. Haha.

We got rankings for the MMO event! My order (which is like a guild) came in 5,227th place out of like 10,000 and I, personally, came in 64,467th place out of like 120,000. So halfway for both. ^_^

And there's another event coming up next week because there were bugs in this previous one. I'm going to be less involved in it, though, since I got the prizes I wanted from this event. Haha. So I'll still be here!

Has anyone seen the Olympic Minecraft TNT thingy? It's on captainsparklez YouTube and is amazing! I downloaded the map and the detail and awesomeness of everything is incredible.

Oh, yeah, might start working on a parkour map with one of my friends Friday. Nothing is set in stone right now, though.

Ummm... trying to think if there's anything else that's not related to the AMCWAS project that I can post here...

I just got done watching this movie on Syfy called Swarm. It was decent. Not another one is on that I have paused called Mandrake. It's about this monster that's half-animal, half-plant. Reminds me of the thing that the Destination Truth team was looking for in that one episode. Weren't they in Fiji or something? Somewhere not near here, I know. Haha.

I start back to classes the 27th, so believe it or not, that's probably when I'll be more involved in YouTubing and mining and crafting. Mainly because I'll have to be near my computer for online/programming courses and I'll be procrastinating like a boss.

Ah, yes. A random post is not complete without a nice comic from xkcd.

Caption: The new crowd is heavily shaped by this guy named Eric, who's basically the Paris Hilton of the amateur plastic crazy straw design world.

I'm subscribed to Etho so yes! I saw the TNT Olympics. Only Etho's so far, and even then only his first episode, so I don't know who won yet. I think that map looks like fun with friends!

Mandrakes makes me think of Harry Potter. I'm a bit of a HP nerd lol. Only ever caught a few episodes of Destination Truth. I remember one about them trying to find bigfoot, but not the American one. They were in a different country and they did find some hair caught on a tree that couldn't be identified. If I'm even remembering correctly. It's been a long time since I've had cable.

So now I have to wait until you start school for updates? Hope you are able to do some recording. A parkour video would be nice...lol.
